Description
Forming a rigid cage around the camera with our Universal BUD Plate and dedicated Top Plate, our Sony VENICE 1 & 2 Left Side Plate is designed to offer cleaner rigging options for your cinema setup.
Featuring a range of accessory mounting points including an ARRI rosette, full-length NATO rail and an array of 1/4″ and 3/8” anti-twist points; the Left Side Plate is ideal for complex rigging.
- Complete the Cage – The Left Side Plate mounts to our Universal BUD Plate and VENICE Sliding Top Plate.
- NATO Rigging – Slide on compatible accessories via the full-length NATO rail.

The Sony VENICE 1 & 2 Left Side Plate Mk II comes with all required components and screws. You will require our Universal BUD Plate and Sony VENICE 1 & 2 Sliding Top Plate Mk II in order to attach it, as well as your own 3mm and 4mm Hex Key to install the screws.
1. Align the Left Side Plate with the screw threads on the left side of the Top Plate and BUD Plate – the ARRI rosette should be towards the bottom, and the Side Plate should sit towards the front of both plates.
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to screw the two M4 screws on the base into the BUD Plate, and a 4mm Hex Key to screw the one 1/4" screw into the Top Plate.
The Sony VENICE 1 & 2 Left Side Plate Mk II is designed to fit the Sony VENICE 1 and Sony VENICD 2 series of cameras: with mounting points precisely designed to fit to the Universal BUD Plate and the Sliding Top Plate – both sold separately.
