Description
If you need to properly kit out your KOMODO for a job, then the RED KOMODO-X Right Side Plate is exactly what you need. Offset from the camera for maximised airflow, the Side Plate gives you a vast range of rigging options.
Compatible with all camera variants, the Right Side Plate helps you make the most out of your KOMODO.
- Rigging Real-Estate – The Right Side Plate creates a huge platform for customisation.
- No Compromise – Choose from a range of mounting points including 1/4″ and 3/8” screw threads; as well as MAP M4 points, QD sockets and a film plane hook mount.
- Spaced Out – Add accessories inside and out: the Right Side Plate is offset from the KOMODO camera body.
- Support Your Vision – The Right Side Plate features mounts for a range of lens adaptors and supports.
- Extendable – Find you need even more rigging space? Add the Rear Cheese Plate for even more options.
The RED KOMODO-X Right Side Plate comes with all required screws, but you will require your own 3mm Hex Key in order to install it, as well as a 2.5mm and 4mm Hex Key to add the Rear Top Bracket.
Side Plate to Camera
1. Align the Side Plate with the front-right of the KOMODO camera body.
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to screw the Side Plate into place.
Rear Top Plate to Side Plate
1. Align the support Bracket with the top-left corner of the Right Side Plate, and use a 4mm Hex Key to screw it in place.
2. Align the Rear Top Plate to the Bracket and use a 2.5mm Hex Key to secure it in place.
The RED KOMODO-X Right Side Plate is compatible with the RED KOMODO-X camera and all variations of lens mount – including the newer Nikon Z-Mount option. It can be used with a range of camera accessories and is compatible with a range of lens adaptors and supports, including:
