Quick-Release Convenience

Though the LeftField Mini is more compact than LeftField 3 Baseplates, it still features our popular Open•UP system for quick-release convenience. This allows you to seamlessly attach the LeftField Mini Baseplate onto any standard ARRI dovetail in moments. When in place, use the lever on the side to transition between locked, sliding and unlocked on the dovetail.

Downsized Design

At just 60mm (2.36”) long, the LeftField Mini Baseplate is ultra-compact, making it ideal for small or low-profile camera setups. It can be expanded on if the situation requires it: the Baseplate features an array of MAP M4 points on the sides and can be fitted with an optional Rear Rod Bracket, to help add extra functionality when shooting

Ready for Rigging

Paired with the LeftField Mini Baseplate, the Riser sets your camera system to the 15mm LWS height standard: expanding the options for attaching follow-focus wheels, matte boxes and more. For cameras such as the Blackmagic PYXIS, the 62.5mm Riser is the perfect choice for added elevation.

Clean Installation

The Riser installs easily to the LeftField Mini baseplate with just a handful of M4 screws and few turns of a 3mm Hex Key. For attaching your camera, captive 1/4" and 3/8” screws attach to compatible cameras – and can slide to optimise balance. Rubber inlays on the top provide extra grip on the camera base, to prevent twisting.

You will require a 3mm Hex Key in order to install the Riser to the Baseplate.

1. Align the four M4 screws with the outer four channels on the LeftField Mini Baseplate.

2. Use a 3mm Hex Key in order to tightly screw the two together.

The LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Kit comes with the Baseplate and Riser required to set your camera to the 15mm LWS standard height. The Standard Riser (62.5mm) is designed to add 22.5mm of elevation to cameras, raising the optical centre to the required 85mm height.
