If you want vertical footage without cropping in, the Universal NATO Clamp is a quick and convenient solution. Simply clip into your tripod or dovetail plate and flip your camera. The Clamp has a central alignment mark so you can easily balance your camera, for secure and simple shooting.
Quick-Release
Once you’re done with your social shooting, simply unlock the winged-lever clamp and slide your camera back out. The NATO Clamp is designed to be tool-free, so you can quickly swap back-and-forth between vertical and horizontal shooting.

The Universal NATO Clamp for Vertical Shooting comes as a standalone unit. You will require your own screws and Hex Keys to mount it.
1. Align the screw threads on the base of the NATO Clamp with the compatible screws.
2. Use a compatible Hex Key to screw the two together.
1. Slot the M4 x 8mm or 1/4" x 8mm screw through the top of the slotted channel on the NATO Clamp.
2. Align with matching threads on your cheese plate or mounting point and use a compatible Hex Key to screw the Clamp in place.
1/4" or 3/8” Screws to Clamp Base
1. Align the screw threads on the base of the NATO Clamp with the compatible screws.
2. Use a compatible Hex Key to screw the two together.
Top-Down Screws to Clamp
1. Slot the M4 x 8mm or 1/4" x 8mm screw through the top of the slotted channel on the NATO Clamp.
2. Align with matching threads on your cheese plate or mounting point and use a compatible Hex Key to screw the Clamp in place.
The Universal NATO Clamp for Vertical Shooting is compatible with any camera setup: with base mounting options including 1/4" and 3/8” screw threads, as well as a slotted screw channel that can accommodate 1/4" x 8mm or M4 x 8mm screws (which are not included). The Clamp itself is compatible with any standard NATO rail.
