The Universal Monitor Mount maintains a low profile on your rig, making it perfect for minimalist setups. If you are tired of squinting into your camera’s built-in EVF or screen, mounting a monitor has never been easier. The Monitor Mount can handle up to 2.5kg in weight – more than enough for even some of the heaviest monitors.

Tool-Free Tweaking

Both ends of the Universal Monitor Mount feature thumbscrews for hassle-free locking and unlocking of your components. If you’re struggling to get enough traction, you can slot a Hex Key through for extra turning power. The only movement should be the panning and tilting that you do yourself.

Pan, Tilt & More

Whether you’re going low-angle on a handheld shot or doing an overhead view; standing operator-side on a shoot or sat behind the camera, the Monitor Mount can handle any point of view. The independent pan and tilt mechanisms give you free articulation: 180° tilting up-and-down, and a full 360° pan. The Monitor Mount keeps you level by providing tactile feedback clicks every 90° turn - ensuring you have the right angle every right-angle.

Mount Multiple Monitors

Mounting monitors can be complicated: most use a standard 1/4" screw, but the location for locating pins changes between ARRI, Atomos and SmallHD standards. Our mounting system, which features spring-loaded and removeable pins for each monitor standard, cuts out the second-guessing – making it quick and easy to set up your view.

The Universal Monitor Mount comes with all required components. You may require a flathead screwdriver in order to remove or reposition locating pins.

Base to Camera

1. Align the 3/8” screw with a corresponding thread on your plate.

2. Use the thumbscrew to tighten the base onto the camera rig.

a. If you struggle to tightly secure the base, slot a Hex Key into an opening on the thumbscrew to provide extra traction.

Adjusting Locating Pins

1. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the pin from its position.

2. Store the pin in the side of the Monitor Mount, or replace it in an alternate locating pin thread.

Monitor to Mount

1. Align the 1/4" screw and locating pin with the threads on the base of your monitor.

2. Use the thumbscrew to tightly secure the monitor to the mount.

The Universal Monitor Mount (1/4"-20 Top, 3/8"-16 Base) is compatible with any camera setup, and any monitor – especially compact field monitors between 5” and 7”. The base mounts to any 3/8” thread, and has ARRI anti-twist for added security, and the 1/4"-20 screw on top has an optional locating pin that is compatible with SmallHD, Atomos and ARRI monitor mounting standards.
