Want all the security of bolt-on rigs, but with the option to take it apart quickly in a pinch? With our Touch & Go Quick-Release System, you have the best of both worlds. Mount a Touch & Go Receiver anywhere – from a bridgeplate to your kit cart, and anywhere in between – then simply click the Plate into place. It’ll stay solid as a rock, until the second you press the button.

Locked In

Touch & Go systems are great as midpoints for mounting camera systems, and our Touch & Go Quick-Release System makes sure your rig is secure right up until you want it free. It uses a three-stage locking system: unlocked, ready and locked. Once your Touch & Go plate is secured, it won’t come off unless you engage the release lever – so you can shoot safe in the knowledge that your setup won’t budge.

Any Camera, Anywhere

Whether you’re going directly onto a fluid-head tripod or building up a complex rig, you’ll be able to attach the Touch & Go Receiver with ease. With helicoiled 3/8” and countersunk 1/4" screw threads, you can secure the Receiver anywhere. Likewise, the Touch & Go Plate has two 3/8” screws by default – but remove them or replace them for whatever base you need.

No Unexpected Twists

Want to keep your camera secure? From ARRI to Z-Cam, the Touch & Go Plate can accommodate any camera system. If you only have one screw thread but want to minimise the twisting, rubber inlays help keep your camera on the straight and narrow.

Baseplate Bridging

For specific baseplate mounts, like the ARRI BP-8, ARRI BP-9 or our own LeftField 19mm Baseplate; the Touch & Go Quick-Release System features a dedicated screw thread layout, so you can play to the offset of 19mm Studio systems.  This is great for releasing your rig between setups, without adding a cumbersome extra baseplate and adaptor.

Capable of being used on practically any camera system or rig construction, these accessories are ideal for filmmaking professionals at any level: from run-and-gun videography to high-budget cinematic filmmaking.

The Touch & Go Quick-Release System comes with both required parts. You will require a flathead screwdriver to install the Plate to your camera or the Receiver to a compatible base.

Loading a Touch & Go Plate
1. Slot the Touch & Go Plate into the Receiver, ensuring that the locking lever is in the unlocked position.
2. Push the Plate into position until the locking lever clicks into place.

Releasing a Touch & Go Plate
1. Press the orange release lever and move the locking lever to the unlocked position.
2. Lift the Touch & Go Plate out of the Receiver.
