Description
The Top Plate for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini is a low-profile attachment for the VENICE extension block. Attaching to the top of the camera without blocking the drop-in ND filter slot; the Top Plate provides 3/8” and 1/4″ anti-twist points as well as MAP M4 threads.
The Top Plate installs cleanly with the help of a 4mm Hex Key.
- Low-Profile – The Top Plate sits discreetly on top of the VENICE Extension Mini.
- ND Clearance – The drop-in ND filter slot and vents aren’t obstructed by the Top Plate.
- Top Handle Mounting – Two 1/4”-20 points are spaced 50mm apart for placing Top Handles.
- Lightweight – The Top Plate is made from aerospace-grade aluminium.
The Top Plate for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini ships as a standalone unit with all required screws. You will require your own 4mm Hex Key in order to install it.
1. Align the Top Plate’s screw threads with those on the Sony VENICE Extension Mini, so that the plate is in a U-shape with the vents and ND slot unobstructed.
2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tightly screw the Top Plate into place.
