Description
The Tall 15mm Rod Mounting Bracket (MAP M4) adds an elevated rod mounting point at a 90-degree angle; allowing you to mount EVFs, viewfinders and other accessories without obstructing top plates or larger lenses.
Mounting to any MAP M4 points, the Tall Rod Mounting Bracket is ideal for complex rigs.
- 15mm Rod Clamp – The Tall Rod Bracket adds an industry-standard 15mm rod clamp.
- Elevated – Get clearance from large lenses or other rod brackets with the added height.
- MAP M4 Mounting – Attach the Tall Rod Bracket to any standard MAP M4 points.
- Offset Design – The Rod Bracket is offset from the mounting point, making it ideal for viewfinders.
- Easy Operation – Secure the Rod Bracket in place with the winged lever clamp.
The Tall 15mm Rod Mounting Bracket ships as a standalone unit with captive screws included. You will require a 3mm Hex Key to install it.
Rod Mounting Bracket to MAP M4 Points
1. Align the captive M4 screws of the Rod Bracket to corresponding MAP M4 points on a camera plate.
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to tightly screw the Rod Bracket to the mounting point.
15mm Rod to Rod Mounting Bracket
1. Loosen the 15mm rod clamp using the winged-lever clamp.
2. Insert a 15mm rod.
3. Tighten the winged-lever clamp to secure the rod in place.
The Tall 15mm Rod Mounting Bracket (MAP M4) mounts to any two MAP M4 points, which can be found on a range of camera accessories including our Canon C400 Top Plate and Canon C80 Top Plate. The rod clamp is elevated 50mm above the mounting point, making it fully compatible with these top plates. The Tall Rod Bracket accepts 15mm rods of any length.
