    The Sony FX5 EVF Extension Cable – 12” (30cm) comes as a standalone unit, requiring both the Sony FX5 body and FX5 EVF in order to function. We also recommend combining with our Sony FX5 EVF Bracket, for expanded rigging options. You will require a 2.5mm Hex Key in order to install it.

    EVF Cable to EVF and Bracket
    1. Insert the Cable into the base of the FX5 EVF – the screws should align with the two screw threads on the centre of the Bracket.
    2. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key to secure the cable in place.
    The Sony FX5 EVF Extension Cable – 12” (30cm) connects the Sony FX5 EVF and the camera body via the dedicated slot. It cannot be used with other cameras or EVFs.
