Rigging made easy: the Short Create Top Handle (NATO) is your new best friend for quick shooting. With a magnetically-assisted NATO clamp for a mount, you can slide and centre your setup in seconds. Expand and extend the setup via the range of accessory mounts, and keep a comfortable hold at all times via the textured rubber grip.

Attractive Design

The Create Top Handle mounts via a standard NATO rail: for quick setup and even quicker release. We’ve made the smoothness of NATO setups even smoother, thanks to a built-in magnet that will automatically centre the handle on compatible rigs, such as the Halo.

Easy Rigging

Use the Short Create Top Handle to mount some of your accessories and declutter your rig. The sides and top are lined with 1/4" and 3/8” screw threads, and the front Handle Extension slots have MAP M4 points for expanded customisation. There is also a QD socket and Cold Shoe mount for attaching more specific accessories such as microphones or straps.

Low-Profile Monitor Mounting

A great way to keep a low centre of gravity on your rig is to counterbalance the monitor against the camera body. Our Top Bar Bracket and Rod Mount system lets you do just that: mount your monitor via 15mm rods for a clean and balance build. And if you need extra space, add the Bar Bracket Spacer to give yourself extra clearance.

Compact Design

The Short Create Top Handle sits lower to its mounting point for a smaller overall footprint for your rig. It can still be extended with our range of Master Handle Extensions if needed: meaning you can customise the shape of your handle to your heart’s content.

Hold for Camera

Long days of shooting can take their toll: calloused fingers, sweaty palms and the knowledge that your invoice will probably be paid late. We can’t solve everything, but the Create Top Handle’s rubber inlay in the grip makes it easier to hold for those long takes, giving you extra comfort on the toughest shoots.

The Short Create Top Handle Mk II (NATO) comes as a standalone unit.
Top Handle to NATO Rail
1. Slide the NATO clamp onto a corresponding NATO rail – if the rail has a magnetic detent, the handle will automatically centre itself.
2. Use the lever clamp to tighten the Top Handle into place.
Reversing the NATO Clamp
1. Loosen the two Torx (T20) screws on the NATO clamp base.
2. Twist the NATO Clamp until the lever clamp is on the outside (Note: you will be unable to use the Bar Bracket Spacer with this configuration).
3. Reseal the screws.
