Description

The Right Side Plate for RED V-RAPTOR adds multiple 1/4″ and 3/8″ mounting threads to the right-hand side of the V-RAPTOR camera body, along with an ARRI rosette for handgrips. It can be installed cleanly and discreetly with two M4 screws, which allow the plate to be mounted upside-down for greater component versatility.

Made from anodised aluminium, the Right Side Plate is lightweight yet reliable for your RED rig.

The Right Side Plate for RED V-RAPTOR attaches directly to the camera and provides a variety of secure mounting and rigging points for accessories like handles and rod mounts. The top of the plate also features a mounting point to relocate the film plane hook.
To attach the plate, use a 4mm Hex key to secure the two included screws. When using the B4002.1051 Right Side Horse Shoe Plate, the side plate can also be mounted on top using the extended screws.

HELICOIL REINFORCED

The 3/8" anti-twist points have been stainless-steel helicoiled for added strength. Helicoil fittings are crucial to prevent thread stripping or binding. An important factor to consider when constantly changing rig configurations.

The ARRI standard rosette is CNC milled and not stamped, offering higher engagement that won’t slip or twist when mounting grips & handles.

Each plate is CNC cut from high-grade aluminium alloy billet, which is then hard anodised for extra durability. The result is highly resilient component, which is also extremely light-weight. The low-profile design is also a handy feature when creating compact camera builds.
