Reduce the wobble with your bigger RED KOMODO-X builds using our Handle Extension Brace – this unit designed to be used with the DSMC RED Touch 7.0”. Attaching to our range of Master Handle Extensions, the Brace slides on-and-off for quick setups, whilst still securing your handle firmly at all times.

Mounting to our new Rear Top Plate, the Handle Extension Brace is an essential addition to create a rigid RED rig.

Smooth Handling

If you’re wanting to pair the DSMC RED Touch 7.0” with an extended handle, you’ll want to ensure that your build is steady enough – especially for transfers between takes. The Handle Extension Brace is set to the correct height for compatible Top Handles on the RED Monitor Interface (RMI), securing taller handle setups without needing to compromise on monitor mounting.

Slide On, Slide Off

When it comes time to wrap, you want to get your RED rig packed down as quickly as possible. With just a few twists of a Hex Key, the Brace loosens and can be slid cleanly off from the Rear Top Plate and Handle Extension. But when installed, you’ve still got full clearance for the KOMODO’s battery slot.

The RED KOMODO-X Handle Extension Brace (RED Touch 7.0”) comes with all required screws. It requires the RED Monitor Interface, RED KOMODO-X Rear Top Plate and RED KOMODO-X NATO Top Plate to all be installed first in order to be set to the correct height.

1. Align the bottom of the Handle Brace with the 3/8” screw thread on the right side of the Rear Top Plate. Slot the 3/8” screw into place and use a 4mm Hex Key to secure it.

2. Align the top of the Handle Brace with a compatible screw thread on the Handle Extension. Slot the 3/8” screw into place and use a 4mm Hex Key to secure it.

The RED KOMODO-X Handle Extension Brace (RED Touch 7.0”) is designed to bridge the RED KOMODO-X Rear Top Plate and our range of Master Handle Extensions, when a compatible Top Handle is mounted to the RED KOMODO-X NATO Top Plate and RED Monitor Interface (RMI). It requires all of these components in order to correctly brace your rig.

Users not mounting the DSMC RED Touch 7.0” or RMI can use this alternative RED KOMODO-X Handle Extension Brace.
