Description
Compatible with a range of compact cine cameras including the Sony FX5 and Nikon ZR, the OpenRig™ Base Riser (24.1mm) is perfect for 15mm LWS builds: adding the required height below the camera for accurate rod support.
Raise the standard: the OpenRig™ Base Riser lifts your camera up, setting various compact cine cameras to the 15mm LWS standard height. Secured with a handful of twists of a Hex Key, this Riser is a clean and compact addition to your setup.
High Standards
The OpenRig™ Riser adds 24.1mm of elevation to your rig – setting your camera to new heights in more ways than one. For compact cine cameras like the Sony FX5 or Nikon ZR, this added height sets them to the correct height when paired with our OpenRig™ 15mm Rod Bracket. The OpenRig™ Base Riser comes as a standalone unit with the required mounting screws and 4mm Hex Key. You will require the OpenRig™ Arca Base and Arca Receiver in order to install it to, as well as the OpenRig™ 15mm Rod Bracket for accurate rod support.
Riser to Arca Base
1. Align the screws of the Riser with the threads on the inside of the Arca Base.
2. Use the 4mm Hex Key to secure the Riser in place.
Arca Receiver to Riser
1. Align the screws on the Riser with the threads on the bottom of the Arca Receiver.
2. Use the included flathead screwdriver to secure the Receiver in place.
Riser to Arca Base
1. Align the screws of the Riser with the threads on the inside of the Arca Base.
2. Use the 4mm Hex Key to secure the Riser in place.
Arca Receiver to Riser
1. Align the screws on the Riser with the threads on the bottom of the Arca Receiver.
2. Use the included flathead screwdriver to secure the Receiver in place.
