Description
The Misfit Six 2-Stage Kit includes the core Misfit Six matte box, two 6.6″ x 6.6″ filter trays, and a carbon fibre top flag. Featuring our Reveal Stage system for quickly adding a third filter stage, the matte box is lightweight, versatile and ideal for use on wide-angle, zooms or ENG lenses.
Fully compatible with our Frame Safe Clamp Adaptors for vignette-free shooting, the Misfit Six 2-Stage Kit can work with optics of any size.

Wide Field-of-View
The Misfit Six gives you a wider matte box than the default 4" x 5.65" filter size of standard matte boxes - though you can still step down to that size if you need a specialist filter. The 6.6" x 6.6" filter size means that you can shoot wider with this matte box, without the risk of vignetting. Coupled with our Frame Safe Clamp Adaptors, you can ensure a clean shot even on ultra-wide lenses like the Angénieux Optimo Ultra 12x.
Reveal Stage
The Reveal Stage mechanism that our matte boxes employ is a favourite feature: allowing you to add a third filter stage without any tools. It takes moments: simply release the Reveal Stage clamps and pull out the extra tray. With the ultra-wide capabilities of the Misfit Six, you won't have to worry about vignetting even with 3 filters.
Versatile Filter Options
The Misfit Six 2-Stage Kit comes with two lightweight but sturdy 6.6" x 6.6" filter trays, which give you a secure and spring-loaded means of keeping your filters in place. They are full compatible with our Gripper Modules, meaning that you can easily retrieve your filters from the matte box mechanism.
Lightweight Top Flag
The Top Flag may seem like a basic addition to your camera setup, but it has been precisely engineered for the best possible performance. The torsion plate makes the flag vibration-resistant when shooting, and the fold-out extensions give you expanded control. And like the matte box itself, installation is totally tool-free.

The Misfit Six is fully compatible with any lens size, provided users correctly install the matte box with Frame Safe Clamp Adaptors, Clip-On Rings or Rubber Donuts. The matte box can be configured for clip-on, rod-mounted or swing-away setups; and accommodates up to three 6.6" x 6.6" filters.
