Experience unmatched convenience with our LeftField 3 Baseplate for cameras including the Blackmagic URSA Cine, URSA Mini and Sony VENICE. Using our Open•Up quick-release system, the LeftField baseplate is able to seamlessly slide or lift off from any ARRI dovetail, and is fully compatible with 15mm LWS setups.

The LeftField 3 baseplate kit provides everything you need to get your camera set up for 15mm LWS shooting. Using our Open•Up system, you can seamlessly mount or remove your camera rig from any standard ARRI dovetail.

Lift-Off
The LeftField 3 Baseplate uses our unique Open•Up quick-release system: a three-stage design which lets you securely lock the baseplate in place, slide along a dovetail or lift it off vertically. This gives you full freedom of positioning and makes it easier than ever to transfer your camera from mount to mount.
15mm LWS Compatible
With the Riser included in this kit, you can set a range of cameras to the 15mm LWS standard height - see the "Compatibility" section below for a list of confirmed cameras. Ideal for balancing matte boxes, follow-focus motors and lens supports, this provides essential support for your camera rig.
Interchangeable Risers
But if you update or upgrade your camera, all that you need to swap out is the Riser itself. The LeftField Baseplate and Dovetail can accommodate any and all camera systems - and thanks to their robust build quality, they will be the same on your first cameras as on your fiftieth.
The LeftField 3 Baseplate comes with the required baseplate, riser and dovetail plate. You will require a 3mm Hex Key in order to assemble it.
Riser to Baseplate
1. Align the six M4 screws with the inner six channels on the LeftField baseplate.
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key in order to tightly screw the two together.
Baseplate to Dovetail
1. Slide or lower the LeftField baseplate onto the dovetail, half-locking the lever to adjust the positioning.
2. When in position, fully close the baseplate lever.
Riser to Baseplate

The LeftField 3 Baseplate kit is designed to work with the LeftField 3 baseplate, mounting via six screws on the central channel. It is designed to elevate cameras to the 85mm height required for 15mm LWS shooting. The Baseplate is compatible with a range of cameras, including but not limited to:
