Easy Rigging

With the Left Side NATO Rail, you’ve got a selection of rigging options in a compact footprint. For classic bolt-on accessories, you’ve got 1/4" and 3/8” threads – but for quick-release components, the Side Rail has an integrated NATO rail. To keep your gear safe, each thread has a helicoil-reinforced steel insert to prevent loosening, and the NATO rail features a safety stop.

Support your Supports

Got a new set of primes and want to switch things up? The Left Side Rail accommodates a broad range of Lens Adaptors and Supports: not just our own options for Vocas and Kippertie, but also native RED PL Adaptor mounts. This means that you can support your setup with any lens – from ARRI to Zeiss.

The Left Side NATO Rail for RED KOMODO and KOMODO-X comes with all required screws, but you will require your own 3mm Hex Key in order to install it.

1. Align the Side Rail with the left-hand side of the KOMODO camera body – making sure that the Bright Tangerine logo is the correct way up and facing outwards.

2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to screw the Side Rail into place.
