So what’s new? Whilst our other KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rigs mount to VCT-14 tripod plates, this KASBAH variant instead mounts to ARRI standard dovetails. Using our patented Open•UP system found in our bestselling LeftField baseplates, you can cleanly lift your entire shoulder rig off any dovetail mount. The release lever pivots on its axis, making it easy to unlock at an angle and avoids clashes with your shoulder pad.

Deceptively Soft

The KASBAH Ātman employs a unique composite material in the shoulder pad, manufactured by Carbon™. Digital Light Synthesis (DLS) involves 3D printing a unique resin structure in flexible resin, which gives the shoulder pad the distinctive metal-like look. Don’t be fooled: the pad contours to your shoulder muscles for superior comfort when shooting.

The KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig Frame (Two-Axis BUD ARRI Dovetail) comes with a compatible shoulder pad but requires a Universal BUD Plate in order to function. Users have their choice of Hand Grips, but we recommend our range of dedicated KASBAH Hand Grips for maximised comfort.

KASBAH Shoulder Pad to KASBAH Ātman Frame
1. Slide the Shoulder Pad onto the rear and click it into place with the clamp.

KASBAH Hand Grip Kit to KASBAH Ātman Frame (15mm LWS Bracket)
1. Insert and secure two 15mm support rods into the front of the KASBAH Ātman Frame.
2. Attach the handgrips to the 15mm LWS bracket via the two ARRI rosettes.
3. Slide the 15mm LWS bracket onto the support rods and clamp it into place.

Universal BUD Plate to KASBAH Ātman
1. Attach the Universal BUD Plate to the base of your camera setup.
2. Slide the camera into place and lock the dovetail clamp in place.

The KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig Frame (ARRI Dovetail) is a universal shoulder rig, accommodating any camera setup via the Universal BUD Plate. The shoulder rig supports 15mm LWS support rods at either end of its frame for added configuration options. This variant of the Shoulder Rig mounts to ARRI standard dovetails. The release lever can pivot in order to avoid clashing with the KASBAH Shoulder Pad. The KASBAH AĀtman Shoulder Rig is a universal shoulder rig, accommodating any camera setup via the Universal BUD Plate. The shoulder rig supports 15mm LWS support rods at either end of its frame for added configuration options, and comes with a VCT-14 mounting kit for smooth tripod mounting.
