Featuring a selection of rigging points and compatibility with both PL and E-Mount setups, the Front Top Plate is the perfect addition to your cinematic setup.
- Forward-Facing – Add accessories such as rangefinders and focus assist systems to the front of your VENICE setup.
- Lens Compatibility – The Front Top Plate can be used with the VENICE Extension in both PL Mount and E-Mount setups.
- Accurate Anti-Twist – The line of 1/4″ and 3/8” screw threads feature individual anti-twist pin threads for secure rigging.
- Flush Rigging – The Front Top Plate forms a flat plane with the VENICE Extension Mini Top Plate for clean rigging.
- Quick Adjustment – The Front Top Plate doesn’t block the drop-in ND filter slot for convenient exposure adjustment.
The Front Top Plate for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini comes with captive screws. You will require the Left and Right Side Plates for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini, as well as a 3mm Hex Key, in order to install it.
1. Align the captive M4 screws with the slots on the top of the two Side Plates – the Extension should curve around the ND filter slot.
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to screw the Front Top Plate into place.
The Front Top Plate for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini is designed to work with the VENICE Extension Mini alone. The Extension is designed to match the compact footprint of the VENICE Mini without blocking the ND filter slot or lens mount.
The Front Top Plate requires the Left Side Plate and Right Side Plate in order to mount.
