The Drumstix Structural Alloy Rods are a new addition to our Drumstix range, designed to give filmmakers of all levels greater flexibility. Built from durable alloyed aluminium, these rods deliver the high quality you expect—at a more accessible price point.

These Drumstix are 6” in length, ideal for mounting with shoulder rigs or other large components. With a standard 15mm diameter and joinable design, the rods can be combined to create custom lengths to suit various camera rigs and support a wide range of accessories.

Extendable Design

The structural alloy rod features M12 threads at both ends, allowing for easy and secure connections with the B1252.1035 - Drumstix 15mm Structural Alloy Threaded Rod Joiner. This enables you to extend rods seamlessly, creating longer configurations without gaps. The smooth join ensures accessories can slide over connections effortlessly.

This joinable design not only allows compatibility with other Drumstix rods but also supports third-party accessories, enabling you to add end points or studs as needed.

Flexible Configurations

While these structural alloy rods are 6” (15.2cm) in length – the middle length of the Drumstix range - you may sometimes need longer rods. The Rod Joiner lets you connect two rods effortlessly, creating a seamless join that allows accessories to slide over the connection without any interference.

Unrestricted Compatibility

With a 15mm industry-standard diameter, Drumstix rods are compatible with a wide range of camera components, from lenses to lights. The aluminium construction keeps them lightweight, making your entire rig easier to handle and reducing strain during shoots.
