Mount your Cheese Plates anywhere using our Z-shape Cheese Plate Adaptor (M4 x 20mm). This simple adaptor mounts via captive screws at either end and provides the optimum spacing for compatible plates.
The Cheese Plate Adaptor (M4 x 20mm) is a simple solution to complicated rigging problems. If you need extra mounting options but don’t want clashes with your camera body, use this Z-shaped Adaptor to put some distance between camera and cage. With standard MAP spacing and a durable design, the Adaptor will be sturdy and stable from the first shot to the end-board.

The Cheese Plate Adaptor gives you extra clearance from a mount, with the Z-shaped design adding elevation and distance. Ideal for systems like our OpenRig Rail, you can keep Cheese Plates from clashing with their mounts. Captive screws mean that when it’s finally time to wrap, you won’t be leaving any parts on-set.

The Cheese Plate Adaptor comes as a standalone unit with captive screws. You will require your own 3mm Hex Key in order to install it.
1. Align the captive M4 screws on one end of the Adaptor with the threads of the mount.
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to secure them in place.
3. Align the M4 screws on the other end of the Adaptor with the threads on the Cheese Plate.
4. Use a 3mm Hex Key to secure it to the Adaptor.

The Cheese Plate Adaptor (M4 x 20mm) is designed to fit with our range of Cheese Plates, Cheese Sticks and Cheese Cubes, mounting to the M4 x 20mm spaced threads along the borders. The Z-shape Adaptor provides space and elevation from the mounting points, and is compatible with both 1/4”-20 and NATO mounting options.
