Quick-Release Convenience

For smooth and stable quick-release, the Extension’s standout feature is a built-in NATO rail, with integrated safeties in either end. So whether you’re looking to slide on a Monitor Mount or fix some external audio on top of your C50 Handle, the Extension makes it quick and easy for both setting up and packing down.

Clean Rigging

The Top Handle Extension adds a range of new mounting points to your C50 Top Handle. Along the top, you have alternating 1/4" and 3/8” screw threads – each with anti-twist pin threads to minimise wobble – along with extra 1/4" threads on the angled side and the rear.

Low-Profile

If you’re finding that your Canon C50 body is a bit too cluttered, with too many parts and not enough access to core inputs, then our Canon C50 Top Handle Extension might be the solution you’ve been looking for. Smoothly matching the profile of the Handle, you can keep the Extension installed and barely notice a difference in feel.

The Canon C50 Top Handle Extension comes with all required components and screws. You will require your own flathead screwdriver to install it to the C50 Top Handle – which we recommend you also pre-install to the camera.

1. Align the two 1/4" screws with the slots on the top and rear of the C50 Top Handle – the Extension should match the profile of the handle.

2. Use a flathead screwdriver to tighten the screws and secure the Extension in place.

The Canon C50 Top Handle Extension (NATO) is designed for the Canon C50 alone. The Top Handle must be installed for the Handle Extension to work correctly. The Extension has a rear-facing 1/4” screw thread and is therefore not compatible with our range of Master Handle Extensions.
