NATO Mounting
Need to quickly rig up a monitor arm, like our Titan Arm 2 Ti? Don’t keep your crew waiting: the Top Handle Cheese Plate features an integrated NATO rail, letting you quickly attach and detach accessories. For a classic bolt-on approach in the same spot, the Cheese Plate also has a line of 1/4" and 3/8” threads.
Clean Rigging
Along with the line along the NATO rail; there is also a scattering of 1/4", 3/8” and MAP M4 points around the rest of the Cheese Plate. And since mounting it covers the Top Handle’s Cold Shoe mount, we added one here to make sure you’ve always got the option.
Microphone Mounting
Though the Cheese Plate covers up the top of the Top Handle, it provides handy alternatives for anything you’d put in its place. A Cold Shoe mount sits at the rear, and the right-hand side features a dedicated mount for the C50 microphone shockmount, making it easy to connect up external audio.

The Canon C50 Top Handle Cheese Plate comes with all required components and screws. You will require the stock Canon C50 Top Handle to be installed first, and a 3mm Hex Key to install the Cheese Plate.
1. Slide the Cheese Plate into the Cold Shoe mount on the Top Handle – the NATO rail should be at the front.
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to tightly screw the Cheese Plate in place.

The Canon C50 Top Handle Cheese Plate is designed for the Canon C50 with the stock Top Handle installed. The Top Handle must be installed for the Cheese Plate to then be installed on top.
