Description
The Blackmagic URSA Cine Top Plate is a modular piece, engineered to fit the Blackmagic URSA Cine camera system. With an array of 1/4″, 3/8” and MAP M4 points – along with an optional 15mm rod console and extension piece.
Mounting cleanly to the URSA Cine via three captive screws, the Top Plate is an essential choice for Blackmagic shooters.
- Accessory Mounting – The Top Plate features an array of 1/4″, 3/8”, MAP M4 points and QD sockets.
- Clear Ventilation – The Top Plate has cutouts to maintain the URSA Cine’s airflow.
- Extension Piece – The modular Top Plate Extension can be used on either side of the Top Plate.
- Easy Installation – Attach the Top Plate to the URSA Cine via three captive 1/4” screws.
- Top Handle Mount – Use the stock URSA Cine Top Handle, or use the dedicated 1/4″-20 mounts on the Top Plate for alternative handles.
The Blackmagic URSA Cine Top Plate comes with all required screws and components. You will need a 2.5mm and 4mm Hex Key in order to correctly install it.
1. Align the three captive 1/4" screws with the three slots on the Blackmagic URSA Cine.
2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tightly screw the Top Plate to the camera.
1. Align the Top Plate Extension’s M4 screw with the thread marked “EXT” on the back-left or back-right of the Top Plate.
2. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key in order to secure the Extension in place.
1. Align the front 15mm rod console M4 screws with the matching threads on the Top Plate in the orientation you require – either higher or lower from the camera.
2. Secure the rod console to the plates using the 2.5mm Hex Key.
Top Plate to Camera
1. Align the three captive 1/4" screws with the three slots on the Blackmagic URSA Cine.
2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tightly screw the Top Plate to the camera.
Top Plate Extension to Top Plate
1. Align the Top Plate Extension’s M4 screw with the thread marked “EXT” on the back-left or back-right of the Top Plate.
2. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key in order to secure the Extension in place.
Rod Console to Top Plate
1. Align the front 15mm rod console M4 screws with the matching threads on the Top Plate in the orientation you require – either higher or lower from the camera.
2. Secure the rod console to the plates using the 2.5mm Hex Key.
