The Bright Tangerine Arca Riser allows you to elevate your camera setup – literally.  Compatible with Arca-standard components such as our Arca Receiver, the Riser provides 15mm of height for your setup along with quick-release functionality. The captive screws help you quickly and conveniently mount your camera, and the optional front lip keeps it locked in place there.

Lightweight and convenient, the Arca Riser is the ideal choice for minimalist setups, and can be used with our dedicated Receiver and Universal Dovetail to create a clean and compact rig.

Ideal for Compact Rigs

The Arca Riser provides a bridging point between classic Arca tripod plates and more involved quick-release systems for filmmakers. Paired with our dedicated Arca Receiver, the Riser mounts quickly and cleanly to our Universal Dovetail and allows you to create a compact yet highly functional camera setup.

Industry-Standard Mounting

The Riser mounts to your camera via a 1/4”-20 or 3/8”-16 screw: used by most camera bodies industry-wide. Simply tighten the captive screws, and you can seamlessly transition from mount to mount. The Arca Riser adds 15mm of height: giving you clearance for accessories such as our Halo Universal Camera Cage without being overly-bulky.

The Riser also features M4 threads on the side for mounting additional accessories, and an Adaptor that turns one of the two 1/4" screws into a 3/8” option.

Anti-Twist Front Lip

In order to ensure that your camera is always facing straight-on, the Arca Riser has an adjustable from lip built into the base. With up to 28mm of sliding travel, it can be adjusted to different camera bodies to ensure they sit squarely facing forward. If you find it’s getting in the way, simply flip the lip and

Designed for Compact Cinema Cameras

The Arca Riser is ideal for less bulky camera rigs, such as stills camera bodies such as Canon’s R series or compact cinema cameras such as the Sony FX3 or FX30.

Adapting the 1/4" Screw

1. Unscrew the 3/8” Adaptor from its socket on the side of the Riser.

2. Screw it over either of the 1/4" screws.

Removing the Front Lip

1. Use a 1.5mm Hex Key to remove the grub screw and slide the front lip out of the Riser.

2. Slide out the two captive screws and reverse them.

3. Slide the front lip back into the Riser.

Arca Riser to Camera

1. Align the 1/4”-20 and/or 3/8”-16 screw thread with the base of your camera.

2. Use a flathead screwdriver to tighten the Riser to your camera body.

Arca Riser to Arca Receiver

1. Slide your Arca plate sideways along the Arca Receiver (following the direction indicated by the arrows).

2. When clicked into place with the safety stops, secure with the orange locking lever.

The Arca Riser is compatible with any standard Arca Receiver, and can be used with any camera that has a 1/4"-20  and/or 3/8”-16 screw thread in the base. The 1/4" screw can be adapted into a 3/8” via the side-mounted adaptor.

The camera size limit is 38mm from the front of the screw to the front of the camera. If the distance of the screw to the front of the camera is less than the minimum, then the front of the camera won't be held by the support and there will be a gap. The plate will still work, but it won't have full anti-twist support.
