The 15mm LWS Rod Bracket for Universal Dovetail adds a compact 15mm LW bracket to the front of the Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4, allowing you to mount your camera to 15mm support rods without a large baseplate.
Designed to create streamlined rigs, the Rod Bracket is lightweight and versatile.
- 15mm Rod Support – The Bracket adds two 15mm Rod Brackets, spaced 60mm apart.
- Universal Dovetail Design – Attach the Rod Bracket to the Universal Dovetail for clean rigging.
- Quick Installation – The Bracket is installed via two 3/8” anti-twist screws.

The 15mm LWS Rod Bracket for Universal Dovetail comes with all required parts, including captive 3/8” screws. It requires a 4mm Hex Key in order to correctly install to the Universal Dovetail.
Dovetail to Rod Bracket
1. Align the two 3/8” screws on the top of the rod bracket with the threads on the base of the dovetail.
2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tighten both screws into place.
Rods to Rod Bracket
1. Slide the 15mm Rods into their bracket until correctly positioned.
2. Use the lever clamps to tighten each bracket and secure the rods in place.
The 15mm LWS Rod Bracket is designed for the Universal Dovetail for Manfrotto and DJI RS 4. It installs to the dedicated 3/8” threads on the Dovetail’s base. It features two 15mm rod brackets spaced at 60mm apart – the standard 15mm LWS width.
However, the Rod Bracket does not set the rods to the 15mm LWS standard height. You will require a dedicated riser to ensure that your specific camera and other accessories are compatible.
