New Heights

The Lens Support comes with a range of adjustment options to suit any lenses you may be using – no more winging it with expensive glass. There are two height-adjustable rod columns that you can swap in and out with ease. For bulky primes, the top half can also be flipped, to give yourself extra clearance.

Open Rigging

The Lens Support can be mounted to either side of the OpenRig™ Rail via either of the NATO rails: giving you clearance when shooting on gimbals or just easy access to other accessories.  If you’re working with a busy rig, the Lens Support can be open-jaw mounted onto the OpenRig™ NATO rails, to avoid taking your whole rig apart.

No Unexpected Twists

Under pressure, a Lens Support with standard rods would begin to twist – not ours, though. We’ve given the rod columns flat front and rear faces, which helps the Lens Support stay profile-matched even with heavy loads. Coupled with the thumbscrew mount for screwing directly into the lens, and you’ll have rock-solid support at all times.

The OpenRig™ Lens Support comes as a full unit with multiple components – including a flathead screwdriver used for adjusting the removeable locating pin.

Lens Support to OpenRig™ Rail
1. Slide or lower the Lens Support’s NATO clamp on to one of the two NATO rails on the OpenRig™ Rail.
2. Use the winged-lever clamp to secure it in place.

Flipping the Support Post
1. Use the winged-lever clamp on the top half of the lens support and remove it from the rod.
2. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the locating pin, and remove the lens support post.
3. Flip the support post and place the locating pin on the opposite side, using the flathead screwdriver to secure it.
4. Replace the now upside-down lens support half back on the rod and tighten in place with the winged-lever clamp.
