Take the strain off your camera’s lens mount with the OpenRig® Lens Adaptor Support Kit: adding a height-adjustable support column to the front of your rig.
Universally compatible and easy to set up, the Support Kit comes with everything you need for rigid rigging.

Take a weight off with the OpenRig® Lens Adaptor Support Kit, which adds support for bulky lenses and adaptors. Bolt it into your Arca Base for rock-solid support for your primes, and protection for your camera. Compatible with any lens adaptor and any camera, it has never been easier to prop up your primes.

When you’re using a PL prime or a hefty zoom, all of the weight gets concentrated on your lens mount – one of the most precious parts of your rig. With the Lens Adaptor Support Kit, you can shift the strain onto something stronger: your cage.
Open Rigging
The Lens Adaptor Support slots into the marked grooves on your Arca Base or any other OpenRig® Riser, before you insert the height-adjustable support post. The added height of the OpenRig® system means that it is even easier to rig up: effortlessly compatible with Mofage, Wooden Camera and Metabones mount adaptors.

The OpenRig® Lens Adaptor Support Kit comes with all required components and screws for mounting. You will require the Arca Base, as well as a 2.5mm Hex Key, to install.
Support to Arca Base
1. Slide the Support bracket into the marked grooves on the Arca Base, roughly positioned to match the front of your camera.
2. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key to secure the Support in place.
Post to Support
1. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key to loosen the rod clamp.
2. Slot in a Lens Adaptor Support Post and re-tighten the clamp.
Support to Arca Base
1. Slide the Support bracket into the marked grooves on the Arca Base, roughly positioned to match the front of your camera.
2. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key to secure the Support in place.
Post to Support
1. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key to loosen the rod clamp.

The OpenRig® Lens Adaptor Support Kit is designed for the OpenRig® System, mounting to the Arca Base via the dedicated channel. It cannot be used alongside the OpenRig® Anti-Twist Plate. The Support is compatible with any lens adaptor; including Mofage, Metabones and Wooden Camera offerings – all you need to do is find the right height.
