Ready for anything, our Carbon Fibre Side Flags are the perfect companion for your Misfit Kick matte box – whether you’re using the Misfit Kick Mk II or Misfit Kick 360. Featuring extendable wings for fine-tuned light control, the Side Flags mount via simple quick-release brackets – and thanks to their lightweight carbon fibre build, you’ll hardly notice that they’re attached.

Complemented by our dedicated Top Flag and Bottom Flag, match your matte box with the Side Flags today.

Maximum Flare Protection

If you want to cut out distracting flares, and your Top Flag alone isn’t cutting it, the Side Flags are the perfect choice. Seamlessly clip them into place, effortlessly adjust their positioning and even extend them; to ensure that every frame is pristine.

Minimal Weight

The Side Flags are made from ultra-lightweight carbon fibre, making them perfect additions to your Misfit Kick setup. The non-reflective surface helps moderate light, whilst also being durable enough to resist scuffs and scrapes on location. The Flags can be folded for transport between setups, keeping your setup low-profile.

Clean Installation

Each of the Side Flags mounts via a set of quick-release brackets, which mount in moments with a 2mm Hex Key. Once they are on, they never have to come off – from there, attaching the flags is easy. But when some cloud cover takes care of the glare, you can just as quickly remove the Side Flags and store them away.

Instructions/Assembly

The Misfit Kick Side Flags come with all required components and screws. You will require a 2mm Hex Key in order to install the brackets.

Brackets to Matte Box

1. Align the two brackets with the raised markers on each side of the Misfit Kick marked “Flag”. The winged-lever clamp should be at the bottom of the matte box and the orange tightening screw should be at the top.

2. Use a 2mm Hex Key to install the brackets.

Side Flags to Brackets

1. Slot the hinges of the Side Flags into the brackets.

2. Adjust the positioning and tighten both the winged-lever clamp and locking screw until secure.

Compatibility

The Misfit Kick Side Flags are compatible with the Misfit Kick Mk II and Misfit Kick 360 matte boxes, as well as the corresponding flags for the top and bottom. It is backwards-compatible with the original Viv and Misfit.
