A small part that makes a big difference: the Touch Loupe for Sony BURANO gives you all the benefits of both a touchscreen EVF and a shaded Loupe at the same time. Precisely engineered for the Sony BURANO, the Touch loupe gives you full access to the touchscreen when you need it, and complete light blackout when you don’t.
Made from soft and lightweight silicone and rubber, the Touch Loupe is an essential tool for Sony shooters.
Practical Loupe Design
With the Touch Loupe, you have full access to the touchscreen of the BURANO whenever you need it. The access port is light-sealed when closed, but opens with ease to give you full control. Adjust your autofocus with a tap of the finder, then re-seal the Loupe for the classic viewfinder experience. Alternatively, for a monitor-only design, flip the Loupe up to fully reveal the screen.
A Better BURANO Viewfinder
The Touch Loupe reduces the footprint of the BURANO viewfinder to a more standard size, reducing the optical path from screen to eye and minimising the chance of collisions with other accessories such as matte boxes. We’ve replaced the spring-loaded lock with a sliding mechanism, eliminating the need to press the lock each time you lift the loupe. To secure the loupe, just slide the lock.
Freedom of Movement
The stock BURANO viewfinder’s 90-degree stock angle makes it harder to access the touchscreen and button shortcuts, meaning that you’re more likely to get your hands in shot when pressing them. The Touch Loupe positions it more traditionally for handheld use: making it easier to adjust your autofocus.
Precise Positioning
Use the pre-tension knob to accurately tweak the position of your Touch Loupe – especially useful for handheld shooting. It also mounts either to the stock BURANO monitor mount or to one of our AXL EVF Mounts, giving you further options for precision.
Easy on the Eyes
The Touch Loupe is designed to offer the most comfort for long shooting sessions, and the best experience with our gear. The compact designs reduces the risk of burn-in, and the light-sealed Loupe means that your eyes have less trouble adjusting to sharp changes in brightness. The Touch Loupe also maintains compatibility with 52mm dioptres for users requiring extra visual enhancement.

Constructed using 25% recycled plastic, the Touch Loupe reduces not only the BURANO’s footprint, but your carbon footprint as well. And as with all of our products, the components are designed to be wear and corrosion resistant for long-lasting performance.

The BURANO Touch Loupe was inspired by our friend Alister Chapman: a Sony ambassador and long-time supporter of our products. He gave us the idea for a more versatile BURANO viewfinder solution, and we worked with him to create the ultimate option.

Installation
To install the Touch Loupe to the Sony BURANO, begin by detaching the 90-degree adaptor from the Sony BURANO loupe. Use a T8 screwdriver to unscrew the four screws securing the adapter.
Insert the straight adaptor, ensuring the four notches are all aligned, and secure it in place using the same screws.
To install the light seal, peel the adhesive backing and attach the four pieces to the raised edges of the LCD screen.
