Strong Mounting Threads
The RED KOMODO and KOMODO-X Top and Side Plate Kit provides a selection of mounting points: 1/4″ and 3/8″ screw threads, NATO rails and quick-detach (QD) sockets for camera straps. The threaded points are fitted with helicoil inserts, which prevent stripping or binding and ensure that your rig remains securely constructed.
Lens Adaptor Support
The Top and Side Plates come with dedicated mounting points for the KOMODO Lens Adaptor Supports, giving you extra stability for your rig. Reduce the strain on your lens adaptor with a design that pairs exceptionally with the Top and Side Plate Kit – always secure when you need it, but easily uninstalled if you don’t.
