A New World of Possibilities

Our C400 top plate provides extensive connectivity options with mounting points on the side, top, and rear, allowing full customisation. The 15mm rod console can be inverted for larger lenses or other front attachments, enhancing versatility.

Maximum Modification

The top plate comes in three core components, including the two side pieces which can be used independently. It has ample room for first-party Canon components such as the microphone mount and top handle with multifunction shoe, meaning you don’t have to compromise on any aspect of your rig. The 15mm rod console requires both sides to be installed.

Shockingly Simple

Speaking of access to accessories, the top plate also comes with a relocation point for Canon’s proprietary microphone shockmount, with an indented groove to eliminate vibrations, prevent wiggle, and keep it tight and secure.

Instructions

Tools Required:

Top Plate: 4x 1/4” Screw, 4mm Hex Key
Front Rod Console: 2x M3 Screws 2.5mm Hex Key

15mm Rod Console

1. Align the front 15mm rod console pins with the matching holes on the left & right plates in the orientation you require.2. Secure the rod console to the plates using the 2.5mm Hex key.

Top Plate to Camera

1. To install the top plate onto the camera, line up the four screws on the left and right brackets with their corresponding mounting points on the C400.2. Use a 2.5mm Hex Key to tightly attach them to the camera.From there, continue to customize your components as you see fit, using any of the provided mounting points. Ensure that all components, top plate included, are tightly attached to the C400.
