Our LeftField 3 Canon C300 Mk III Advanced Kit comes with everything you need to set your Canon camera up for any shooting scenario. The top and bottom of the camera are geared up with purpose-built baseplates and top plates, and the kit also features a carry handle and dovetail to help you mount your camera anywhere – with the LeftField system providing rapid release.

LeftField Convenience
Using our Open•Up Quick Release system, the C300 Mk III Advanced Kit allows for the rapid transition from different mounting points: from the included dovetail on a tripod, to a gimbal setup or a shoulder rig. The mechanism ensures that your camera is securely mounted, but can easily be intentionally detached by flipping the catch. Any ARRI standard dovetail – even those out of tolerance – is compatible.
15mm LWS Setups
The LeftField Baseplate also provides brackets for two rods in the 15mm Light Weight Support (LWS) configuration – an industry standard. This allows you to accessorise with ease, adding support for follow-focus motors, matte boxes and other accessories whilst keeping your camera rig balanced.
Ideal for Handheld Shooting
The C300 Mk III Advanced Kit comes with our modular top plate, as well as a 1/4″-20 top handle that mounts to it seamlessly. Combined, you can create a secure handheld grip for run-and-gun shooting. If you need to add other accessories or configure the current setup, the top plate can be removed without unscrewing it, thanks to an ARRI dovetail clamp of its own.
Great for Gimbals
The main top plate module also has a separate 15mm LWS bracket for mounting support rods from the top, for lens motors or viewfinder brackets. These brackets are also particularly useful for drone or gimbal use, enabling more versatile component placement.

Compatibility
The LeftField Canon C300 Mk III Advanced Kit is designed for the Canon C300 Mk III cinema camera, but can also be used with the C500 Mk II. The LeftField 3 Quick-Release mechanism provides compatibility with an ARRI standard dovetail, along with support for 15mm LWS setups.
