The Axl EVF Mount Base Kit for Canon allows you to more conveniently reposition your Canon EVF-V70 viewfinder. A 3-axis system allows you to easily articulate your EVF, even with one hand, and the mechanism ensures that the viewfinder won’t sag or drop. The Base Kit comes with two 4″ Drumstix support rods for convenient installation to any 15mm LWS rod bracket, as well as the Axl Adaptor Plate for the EVF-V70.

The Axl is designed so that even when completely loosened, your EVF won’t sag or drop down.

Convenient Mounting

The Base Kit of the Axl EVF Mount comes with two 4″ support rods from our sterling titanium Drumstix range. Featherweight yet strong, they are the best way to mount the EVF to a top bar bracket, with the EVF mount being set to the 15mm LWS spacing. For adjusting on the camera, you can loosen and tighten the rod brackets.

Designed for Canon Systems

The Axl EVF Mount Base Kit for Canon is compatible with the Canon EVF-V70 via an Adaptor Plate, included in the kit. This removes the need for the stock Canon CL-V2 clamp, making your viewfinder mounting more compact and more versatile. If you regularly swap out the EVF for monitors such as the LM-V2, you can use the Axl EVF Adaptor (Canon LCD) to quickly exchange the two screens.

Compact Control

The Axl also provides sliding travel from left to right, allowing you to extend the EVF mount for easier reach on bulkier rigs whilst keeping the footprint of the EVF mount minimal. The rotation limiters on the tilt adjustment wheel also mean that the tightening screw is always accessible, meaning that you can always adjust your viewfinder.
