Description

The Axl EVF Mount Base Kit for ARRI viewfinders gives you unmatched freedom of movement for your EVF. Reduce downtime with this articulating 3-axis system, which allows you to easily position your EVF with a single thumbscrew. The Axl EVF Mount keeps your viewfinder secure in place when you need it, and fully fluid in motion when that needs to change.

Made from anodised aluminium, the Axl is lightweight and durable for extended shooting periods.

Position with Precision

Every element of the Axl has been designed to increase versatility and decrease downtime: the Axl EVF Mount Base Kit for ARRI uses a 3-axis tightening system, which allows you to quickly and easily adjust the viewfinder’s position – even with one hand. The Axl is designed so that even when completely loosened, your EVF won’t sag or drop down.

ARRI-Compatible

The Axl EVF Mount Base Kit is designed to work as an alternative mount to ARRI MVB-1; making it compatible with the ARRI MVF-1, MVF-2, EVF-1 and EVF-2. In no time – and with no tools – you can seamlessly attach your EVF to the mount, and be ready for shooting.

Convenient Mounting

The Base Kit of the Axl EVF Mount comes with two 4″ support rods from our sterling titanium Drumstix range. Featherweight yet strong, they are the best way to mount the EVF to a top bar bracket, with the EVF mount being set to the 15mm LWS spacing. For adjusting on the camera, you can loosen and tighten the rod brackets.

Compact Control

The Axl also provides sliding travel from left to right, allowing you to extend the EVF mount for easier reach on bulkier rigs whilst keeping the footprint of the EVF mount minimal. The rotation limiters on the tilt adjustment wheel also mean that the tightening screw is always accessible, meaning that you can always adjust your viewfinder.
