With the Vertical Adaptor, you can quickly and easily set the VENICE Extension Mini up at a right-angle: giving you the ultimate setup for TikToks, Instagram reels and any other vertical content you can think of.

For Any Setup

Whether you’re shooting on a static tripod or on a more mobile setup, the Vertical Adaptor is there to make shooting easier. With the base of the Adaptor featuring a range of 1/4″ and 3/8” threads, you can use it with a range of dovetail plates. The Adaptor also elevates the camera’s optical centre by 58mm, giving clearance for accessories whilst also accommodating the 15mm LWS height standard when used with the appropriate Baseplate and Riser combination.

Pick a Side

The Vertical Adaptor is compatible with both our Left Side Plate and our Right Side Plate for the Sony VENICE Extension System Mini. Both plates are marked with the line of threads needed to correctly install the Adaptor so that it aligns with the camera sensor.

Clean Installation

Speaking of, installing the Vertical Adaptor is quick and easy: mounting to any two industry-standard 1/4″ threads with a few turns of a 4mm Hex Key. One of the mounting screws features locating pins, to help ensure that the Adaptor is correctly centred and easily secured in place.

Instructions/Assembly

The Vertical Adaptor for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini comes with all required screws. You will require either the Left or Right Side Plate for the Sony VENICE Extension System Mini to mount the Adaptor, and a 4mm Hex Key to attach it to your camera rig.

Adaptor to Side Plate

1. Align the two 1/4″ screws with the marked threads on the Left or Right Side Plate, using the locating pins to help guide the screws into place.

2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tightly screw the Adaptor to the Side Plate.

Adaptor to Dovetail

1. Align the 1/4″ or 3/8” threads on the Adaptor with a corresponding screw on your dovetail plate.

2. Use the corresponding flathead screwdriver or Hex Key to screw the two together.

Compatibility

The Vertical Adaptor for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini is designed to work with the Sony VENICE Extension System Mini alone. The Adaptor has mounting screws that align with threads on the Left and Right Side Plates for the camera extension block.

The Adaptor adds 58mm of elevation from the optical centre of the Sony VENICE Extension System Mini. In order to reach the 15mm LWS height of 85mm, you will need a compatible Riser.
