Complete Convenience

The Monitor Mount Kit collects four individual components that when combined create a fully-articulating monitor mount option for any camera. Our Universal Monitor Hinge adds pan-and-tilt functionality for the monitor itself, whilst mounting to a 15mm NATO Rail for 140mm of sliding travel. That in turn mounts to our Top Bar Bracket and 15mm Rod Mount, for extra freedom. These multiple planes of movement mean that you are guaranteed to find the perfect position for your monitor.

For Any Monitor

The Universal Monitor Hinge offers compatibility and convenience in equal measure: featuring anti-twist locating pins for ARRI and SmallHD monitor standards – using the same storable pin solution as our bestselling Titan Arm 2. These pins can be easily removed when not in use and stored within the Hinge itself. The 1/4″ mounting screw is also captive, to avoid you losing it when removing your monitor.

Modular Mounting

For minimising your rig’s footprint, you can reduce or remove the different components of the Monitor Mount Kit for alternate mounting setups. For minimalist monitor mounting, the Monitor Hinge mounts to any standard NATO rail – such as on our NATO Cheese Stick.

Instructions/Assembly

The Universal Monitor Mount Kit comes with all required screws and components. You will require your own 3mm and 4mm Hex Keys to install it; along with a compatible handle mount for the Top Bar Bracket and 15mm Rod Mount.

Top Bar Bracket to Top Handle/Spacer

1. Align the Handle or Spacer’s nub with the inlet on the Top Bar Bracket, aligning the screw threads. If you are using the Spacer, align the Top Handle on the other side, ensuring the Spacer is flush against both components.

2. Insert the two M4 x 25mm screws through all components.

3. Use a 3mm Hex Key to tighten the screws, ensuring all three parts are secured.

Monitor to Monitor Block

1. Align the monitor block’s 1/4″ screw with the thread on your monitor’s bottom or side.

2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to screw the block to the camera.

Monitor Block to Monitor Hinge

1. Align the block with the hinge bracket, ensuring that the locating pin(s) correctly slot through to the monitor.

2. Align the two screws with the threads on both the monitor block and the hinge bracket.

3. Use a 3mm Hex Key to screw all components together.

Monitor Hinge to NATO Rail

1. Slide the monitor hinge onto a compatible NATO rail.

2. When positioned, tighten the clamp on the hinge to secure it in place.

15mm Rod to Rod Mounting Bracket

1. Loosen the 15mm rod clamp using the winged-lever clamp.

2. Insert a 15mm rod.

3. Tighten the winged-lever clamp to secure the rod in place.

NATO Rail to 15mm Rod

1. Rotate the winged-lever clamp to loosen the bracket.

2. Slide the NATO rail rod mount onto the 15mm rod and tighten the rod bracket.

Rod to Top Bar Bracket

1. Slide the 15mm rod into the side-facing 15mm Rod Mount.

2. Tighten the winged-lever clamp.

Compatibility

The Universal Monitor Mount Kit is designed to complement a range of EVFs and camera setups: mounting to either our D-Style Master Handle or Short Create Top Handle. It can be used with a broad range of cameras, and is compatible with any monitor that features a 1/4″ screw mount. It also features removable locating pins for ARRI and SmallHD monitors. Atomos monitors are only compatible when mounted vertically.
