More than just a monitor arm: the Titan Arm 2 offers new freedom for mounting accessories: from monitors and microphones to lights or even small cameras. The Arm has a patented system for retaining strength and stability – even when fully unlocked. The Titan Arm has a strength capacity of 5kg from its interchangeable mounting points: with multiple Adaptor options available.

No Slack

The Titan Arm 2 features a unique friction-based system, which shifts the pressure on the mechanism to different positions as the arm pivots. This means that the mechanism won’t strip out or wear down over time. The Titan Arm 2 is guaranteed to last.

Self-Supporting

In those high-pressure moments on set, it can be frustrating having to unlock and re-lock a traditional monitor arm. With the Titan Arm 2, you can reposition the arm even when the mechanism is fully locked. And on the other end of the spectrum, the Arm has enough internal strength to stay steady – even with the lever unlocked.

Tool-Free Mounting

This Titan Arm 2 kit features a 3/8”-16 thumbscrew at the camera end, and a 1/4″-20 thumbscrew at the monitor end – the industry standards for mounting. The thumbscrew design removes tools from the equation, meaning that you can attach and detach accessories or the Titan Arm itself in moments.

Ideal for Monitors

The 1/4″ screw comes with a number of removeable locating pins that help you mount different monitor standards; including Atomos, SmallHD and ARRI. If you don’t need them, they can be stowed inside the head of the Titan Arm – with each pin having a marked niche.

Secure Camera Mounting

At the other end – literally – is the 3/8” screw, which also features removeable anti-twist locating pins for mounting to industry-standard 3/8” threads in the ARRI Pin-Lock layout.  The larger screw makes for a more secure hold – ideal for attaching to your camera rig.

Interchangeable Ends

The Titan Arm 2 features interchangeable mounts at either end: with 1/4”, 3/8” and NATO quick-release options available. This gives you full freedom for creating the perfect setup. Mount to a sturdy 3/8” thread on your Top Plate, or quickly swap in different accessories via different NATO rails.

Instructions/Assembly

Adaptor to Titan Arm

1. Align the base of the Adaptor with the ball-and-socket joint of the Titan Arm. Lower it into place so that the countersunk M4 screw threads are aligned.

2. Insert the M4 screw through the Adaptor and use a 2.5mm Hex Key to secure it in place.

3/8” Thread to Adaptor

1. Align your item’s 3/8” screw thread with the thumbscrew.

2. Twist the thumbscrew into position, using a 2.5mm Hex Key to tighten if necessary.

Adjusting Locating Pins

1. To remove unnecessary locating pins, use a flathead screwdriver to carefully unscrew them from the top of the Titan Arm Adaptor.

2. Stow the locating pin in one of the marked niches on the side of the Adaptor.

1/4″ Thread to Adaptor

1. Align your item’s 1/4” screw thread with the thumbscrew, making sure to remove and stow any unnecessary locating pins.

2. Twist the thumbscrew into position, using a 2.5mm Hex Key to tighten if necessary.

Compatibility

The Titan Arm 2 uses a unique friction-based system which allows it to be moved even when locked. This means that it has less slack than other monitor arms, and may feel stiff when used – but that is the arm performing as intended.

To avoid issues, store the Titan Arm 2 with the mechanism unlocked.

The Titan Arm 2 is fully compatible with any camera and monitor system, and can be mounted via any industry-standard 1/4″ and 3/8” thread. The monitor mount end of the Titan Arm has marked locating pins for compatibility with Atomos, ARRI and SmallHD monitor standards, with pins that can be removed depending on which monitor is being used.

The Titan Arm 2 cannot be used with Titan Arm 1 accessories, and cannot be used without the Adaptors.
