Introducing the Halo Universal Camera Cage: a lightweight yet sturdy camera rigging solution that can be used with any camera. Offering a range of accessory mounting options for industry-standard accessories, the Halo gives you a rigid rig for easy filmmaking.

The Only Cage You’ll Need

The Halo is capable of fitting to any camera system: providing a clean and streamlined rig for any shooter. Whether you have multiple camera bodies that you constantly swap out, or are tired of throwing away half your rig whenever you upgrade your camera, then the Halo is the perfect solution.

Build the Perfect Setup

Wrapping around your camera body, the Halo offers a huge range of accessory mounting points for you to use. Along with industry-standard screw threads (1/4” and 3/8”), the Halo also offers MAP and QD sockets, a cold shoe mount and NATO rails. Able to take up to 10kg of load without flexing, you have huge scope for accessorising your rig.

Clean Rigging

The Halo mounts via a 15mm LW rod bracket on the bottom of the cage. Coupled with our Universal Dovetail, you can create a minimalist rig. For more involved setups requiring the 15mm LWS height, the Halo can easily be used with our LeftField 3 Baseplate for quick-release convenience on any ARRI BUD system. Whatever way you choose, you can create a comprehensive rig system that is secure, balanced and stylish. The space is precisely designed to accommodate cameras of different sizes, without being overly bulky.

Quick Customisation

Convenience is the name of the game with the Halo: it has been designed to give you as many options as possible, as easily as possible. The top and sides have built-in NATO rails, which allow you to conveniently slide accessories on and off in moments (safety stops help prevent components from falling off entirely). We’ve also marked the central balance point, making it convenient for you to mount the Halo to an Easyrig or other centrally aligned accessories.

Built to Last

The Halo is designed to be robust and reliable: lasting as long as your camera – and hopefully longer. It is made from lightweight aluminium and hard-anodised for durability, making it resistant to wear-and-tear and corrosion. It is assembled simply and cleanly with a handful of M4 screws, so you can get creating with the Halo as soon as possible and for as long as possible.

Instructions/Assembly

The Halo ships fully assembled for instant use, but can be disassembled for storage by detaching the M4 screws at the four corners.

Halo to Rods

1. Slide the completed Halo onto the 15mm rods (not provided)

2. Use the two lever clamps to tighten each bracket when in the optimal position.

Compatibility

The Halo is universally compatible with any camera system. It features a range of 1/4″, 3/8”,  MAP, QD, NATO and Cold Shoe mounting points for compatibility with standard camera accessories.
