Description
With the Canon C70 Side Plate, you can create the best C70 camera cage for any shooting scenario. With a selection of 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads and an integrated NATO rail, you have a range of customisation possibilities to suit any shoot. You can even use the Side Plate’s cold shoe mount for microphones, lights and other compatible accessories.

Rigid Rigging Options
The C70 Side Plate allows you to customise without compromise. Once installed, you have access to two 3/8″ and two 1/4″ screw threads as well as an integrated NATO rail and cold shoe mount. The screw threads are each fitted with stainless steel helicoil inserts, that help preserve the mounting points for long-lasting performance.
Discreet Mounting
By tightening just three captive screws – that come with locating pins to ensure a tight fit – you can install the Side Plate to your Canon camera. The Side Plate contours to the shape of your C70, meaning that it keeps the footprint of your camera small. Coupled with our dedicated C70 Top Plate and LeftField Baseplate, you can create a versatile and compact C70 camera cage.
Accommodating
As well as fitting neatly to your camera, the C70 Side Plate also keeps the functionality of the camera completely intact. A dedicated clamp allows you to easily fit a Film Plane Hook, and the Side Plate has a mounting point for the HDMI clamp – ensuring nothing is disconnected in frantic filming periods.
