Drop the downtime with our Axl EVF Mount Kit for the Blackmagic URSA Cine – replacing the stock URSA Cine EVF. Using a 3-axis adjustment system, you can smoothly adjust the position of your viewfinder – even one-handed. The unique mechanism ensures your EVF is always kept steady, and you can adjust the positioning without the fear of the Axl dropping or sagging.

Using the same rod-mounting setup as the URSA Cine’s viewfinder, but swapping the horizontal 19mm rod for our Axl mechanism, the Axl EVF Mount is the perfect addition to your Blackmagic build.

Single-Handed Shooting

Every element of the Axl has been designed to increase versatility and decrease downtime: the Axl EVF Mount Kit uses a 3-axis tightening system, which allows you to quickly and easily adjust the viewfinder’s position – even with one hand. The Axl is designed so that even when completely loosened, your EVF won’t sag or drop down.

Perfect for the PYXIS Cine

With our dedicated Adaptor for the stock Blackmagic URSA Cine EVF, you can easily enhance your viewfinder with quick-release convenience. This makes it easier not only to fine-tune your EVF, but also pack down your setup when you finally wrap shooting.

Convenient Mounting

The Base Kit of the Axl EVF Mount comes with two 4″ support rods from our sterling titanium Drumstix range. Featherweight yet strong, they are the best way to mount the EVF to a top bar bracket, with the EVF mount being set to the 15mm LWS spacing – ideal for pairing with our 15mm Rod Console for the URSA Cine. For adjusting on the camera, you can loosen and tighten the rod brackets.

Instructions/Assembly

The Axl EVF Mount comes with all required components and screws.

Adaptor to Axl

1. Lower the quick-release rail into the Axl EVF Mount’s clamp.
2. Use the orange screw to tighten the clamp and secure your EVF in place.

Axl to Rods

1. Insert the Axl EVF Mount onto the 15mm rods.
2. Use the single locking mechanism to secure the EVF in place.

EVF to Adaptor

1. Remove the Blackmagic EVF from the stock EVF mount.
2. Slide the Axl EVF Adaptor onto the Blackmagic viewfinder.

Compatibility

The Axl EVF Mount Base Kit is designed to adapt the Blackmagic URSA CINE’s viewfinder. The Axl system has broader compatibility with other viewfinders, but will require dedicated adaptors for each camera system and their EVFs.
