Description
Expand the possibilities of your LeftField Mini Baseplate with our Rear Rod Bracket. Installed simply via a pair of 1/4″ screws, the Rear Rod Bracket adds new customisation options to your camera setup. Add independent rear support rods with the dedicated bracket, to counter-balance or add rear accessories such as battery packs, without adding too much weight or heft to your camera setup.
Lightweight and low-profile, the Rear Rod Bracket is a seamless addition to your LeftField Mini Baseplate.
Rear Rod Mounting
Need to build up your rig but only have short support rods? With the Rear Rod Bracket, you can quickly and easily extend the rear of your rig. The independently locking rod brackets allows for convenient balancing of rods, allowing you to easily add battery plates or other rear-mounted accessories.
Quick to Install
The Rear Rod Bracket installs cleanly via two 1/4″-20 screws, inserted after you install the support rods. This ensures ease-of-access to the screw slots for removal, as well as helping you balance the rig and components early. The Bracket sits cleanly against the LeftField Mini without interference, and still maintains the 1/4″-20 screw slots required for components such as the KASBAH Shoulder Pad.
Low-Profile
The Rear Rod Bracket manages to extend the functionality of the LeftField Mini Baseplate without extending the footprint beyond what’s necessary. For compact rigs, such as with the Canon C80 or Sony FX3, you can customise without compromise.

Instructions/Assembly
The Rear Rod Bracket for LeftField Mini Baseplate comes with the required 1/4″-20 screws for mounting, though you will need your own 4mm Hex Key to secure them in place.
1. Insert 15mm rods into the rear of the Baseplate, locking them into place with the independent clamp.
2. Insert the Rear Rod Bracket onto the Rods.
3. Tighten the two clamps on the Rear Rod Bracket.
4. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tightly secure the two 1/4″-20 screws to the Baseplate.
Compatibility
The Rear Rod Bracket for LeftField Mini accommodates two 15mm rods in the 15mm LWS width configuration. It features two 1/4″-20 screw slots for mounting additional accessories.
