With the combination of a 3/8” thumbscrew at one end and a NATO clamp at the other, the Titan Arm 2 becomes a professional production powerhouse. The Arm has a patented system for retaining strength and stability – even when fully unlocked. The Titan Arm has a strength capacity of 5kg from its interchangeable mounting points: with multiple Adaptor options available.

No Slack

The Titan Arm 2 features a unique friction-based system, which shifts the pressure on the mechanism to different positions as the arm pivots. This means that the mechanism won’t strip out or wear down over time. The Titan Arm 2 is guaranteed to last.

Self-Supporting

In those high-pressure moments on set, it can be frustrating having to unlock and re-lock a traditional monitor arm. With the Titan Arm 2, you can reposition the arm even when the mechanism is fully locked. And on the other end of the spectrum, the Arm has enough internal strength to stay steady – even with the lever unlocked.

Quick-Release Convenience

The NATO Adaptor for Titan Arm 2 comes in two parts: a clamp for the Titan Arm, and a quick-release rail that can mount to any standard 1/4″ screw thread. This makes it an ideal choice for monitors; even coming with locating pins for Atomos, SmallHD and ARRI standards. Seamlessly release monitors or quickly adjust settings with this combination, or use additional Quick Release NATO Rails to swap monitors in moments.

Secure Camera Mounting

At the other end – literally – is the 3/8” screw, which also features removeable anti-twist locating pins for mounting to industry-standard 3/8” threads in the ARRI Pin-Lock layout. The larger screw makes for a more secure hold – ideal for attaching to your camera rig – and the thumbscrew design makes tightening or adjusting the Titan Arm’s hold completely tool-free.

Interchangeable Ends

The Titan Arm 2 features interchangeable mounts at either end: with 1/4”, 3/8” and NATO quick-release options available. This gives you full freedom for creating the perfect setup. Mount to a sturdy 3/8” thread on your Top Plate, or quickly swap in different accessories via different NATO rails.

Instructions/Assembly

Adaptor to Titan Arm

1. Align the base of the Adaptor with the ball-and-socket joint of the Titan Arm. Lower it into place so that the countersunk M4 screw threads are aligned.

2. Insert the M4 screw through the Adaptor and use a 2.5mm Hex Key to secure it in place.

3/8” Thread to Adaptor

1. Align your item’s 3/8” screw thread with the thumbscrew.

2. Twist the thumbscrew into position, using a 2.5mm Hex Key to tighten if necessary.

Monitor to QR NATO Rail

1. Use the provided screwdriver to screw in the corresponding pin to the monitor’s base (the threads are labelled to avoid confusion).

2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tighten the 1/4”-20 screw into the monitor base.

NATO Rail to NATO Clamp

1. Slide the NATO Rail into the NATO Adaptor until the safety clicks into place.

2. Tighten the NATO Adaptor using the side clamp.

Compatibility

The Titan Arm 2 uses a unique friction-based system which allows it to be moved even when locked. This means that it has less slack than other monitor arms, and may feel stiff when used – but that is the arm performing as intended.

To avoid issues, store the Titan Arm 2 with the mechanism unlocked.

The Titan Arm 2 (3/8” AT-NATO) Quick-Release Kit is designed to work with industry-standard mounting points, featuring a 3/8”-16 mount Adaptor at one end and a NATO clamp at the other. The Quick-Release NATO Rail features a 1/4″ screw and removeable locating pins for different monitor standards including ARRI, Atomos and SmallHD.

Each end of the Titan Arm 2 can be swapped over or replaced with alternate Adaptors, for enhanced compatibility. The Titan Arm 2 cannot be used with Titan Arm 1 accessories, and cannot be used without the Adaptors.
